My point of departure for this exhibition is an idea I have been contemplating about Mass as a constant entity.
Mass containing our existence, history and future, hopes and moments. As well as our time as visitors.
It’s dark, then light, then dark again.
In between are the scenes we walk in and out of, and which bring us forward.
I have been travelling to explore these scenes. I have looked for moments where unmitigated reality sets a stage. I have sought out people in moments and settings that tell stories about our lives now.
The exhibition comprises 22 new photographs and a short film.
A small bronze figure is sitting inside a glass bell. Her name is Konstanse, and she embodies the Mass.
