Martin Erik Andersen

Martin Erik Andersen (b. 1964) studied at Al-Fonun Al-Gamila (The Fine Arts Academy) in Cairo (1989-90) and graduated from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts (1992). Since 2009, Andersen has been a professor of sculpture at the Danish Academy of Fine Arts, and in 2014 he received the Thorvaldsen Medal. Collections include The National Gallery of Denmark, Copenhagen, Denmark, Horsens Kunstmuseum, Horsens, Denmark, and Arken, Museum of Modern Art, Ishøj, Denmark.
